Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Price Hiked, Now Selling at Rs 16,400

After hiking smartphone prices, Samsung has now  increased the price of  Galaxy Tab 2 3100 by around Rs. 1000. Samsung had recently slashed the price of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 from Rs 19,000 to Rs 15,499. But after ministry decision to hike import duty from 1% to 6% Samsung had No option to hike the price again.

The price of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 3100 (3G version with voice calling) is now available in the market for Rs 16,400. It hiked around Rs. 1000 due to increment in import tax.     1. Well this calculation is not that simple. import tax is applied when Samsung India imports the device from abroad. This is not VAT, so in technical terms price of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 hiked.
