Samsung Galaxy S II getting Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update

Samsung has started rolling our Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S II, and this time they are starting with Spain. Earlier Samsung rolled our Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1  and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. It is a good move from Samsung side that they are updating their devices to the latest version of Android OS with minimum delay. The same thing happened with Samsung Galaxy S II, it was launched with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, later got Android 4.0.1 ICS, and now getting Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. Now the Samsung Galaxy S II from Spain will get  Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update Over-The-Air or via Kies.

With this update Samsung Galaxy S II users will get access to Google Now, Direct call, and pop up play. Like other Samsung devices, Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean update will be released in region-wise batches. it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S II users from US and UK will get that update very soon.
