1. VOICE COMMAND

Voice commands are something that have been made famous with the release of Apple’s Siri. But, very few know that Android has had voice activated commands as a part of their OS’ for a very long time now. All you have to do is tap the small microphone wherever it pops up and you’ll be able to perform those functions through voice quite easily.

2. SWIPE TO CLOSE

There is a new option of swipe to close available on this OS. This feature basically allows you to close any app from the multitask screen by just swiping across them. Quite simple.

3. NOTIFICATIONS

The notifications bar has been improved substantially from the previous operating systems. First of all, it is now accessible from the lock screen which is great as you do not have to keep on unlocking your smart phone for every little thing. You can also dismiss notifications without too much effort now, all you have to do is simply swipe across it and it will be dismissed.

4. SCREENSHOTS

The procedure for screenshots has been made a lot easier with the ICS. All you have to do is press the volume down and power button together and viola, you have a screenshot. This is a welcomed addition as the earlier versions had far too complex methods for clicking screenshots.
